New FUSE filesystem

Stuart Maclean
Hi all,

I have implemented a secure filesystem I call the 'Vernam FS'. It is
based on the notion of one-time-pads.  It uses FUSE to populate the file
system. Its target usage is in remotely deployed sensors
collecting/recording sensitive data that must be kept unreadable by an
adversary.

It is a slightly bizarre filesystem in that it is write-only. There is
no way to list any meta data such as names of any files allocated, nor
file lengths.  This is done in order not to leak any information about
the files written.

I concede that the FUSE part of the overall codebase is small, but I
thought it may be of interest to the community:

Regards

Stuart
