fsx problems with large_read

Leandro Franco
Hi,

I was playing with fsx and i saw that there are errors in fusexmp if
large_read is enable... is this the expected behavior?

Thank You
Leandro

No.   What kind of errors?

I'll try to reproduce it, though it will be hard to find a machine
running a 2.4 kernel.

Miklos

Re: fsx problems with large_read

Hello,

I tried:

$fusexmp -o large_read -d mount/

$fsx -d -R -W fsx

and I'm attaching the logfile.... (btw... "fsx" and "fsx.fsxgood" are equal)

Thanks,
Leandro

Can you please tell me what is the kernel version and FUSE version?

Thanks,
Miklos

Re: fsx problems with large_read

Leandro Franco
hi,

I tried with two machines using the same fuse version: 2.3.0 (and got
the same result)

first:

$ cat /proc/version
Linux version 2.4.21-20.ELsmp ([hidden email]) (gcc version
3.2.3 20030502 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.3-24_SL)) #1 SMP Thu Sep 2 16:47:25
CDT 2004

$ gcc -v
... ...  gcc version 3.2.3 20030502 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.3-42)

second (same linux dist, kind of similar) :
$ cat /proc/version
Linux version 2.4.21-27.0.2.EL ([hidden email]) (gcc version
3.2.3 20030502 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.3-42)) #1 Tue Jan 18 19:45:27 CST
2005

Default gcc version 3.4.3 but kernel module compiled with 3.2.3

Thanks a lot
Leandro
